IT Consultant

About This Role

This IT Consultant role involves helping companies make their IT environments smarter, safer, and more efficient. You will analyze IT challenges, advise on optimal solutions, and guide implementations, providing tailored solutions that truly fit each client. The position suits a professional who can effortlessly switch between technical and strategic tasks, collaborate with colleagues, and continuously develop their skills in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Work 3 to 4 days per week on-site with clients, assisting with migrations, managing systems, replacing hardware, training employees, or setting up user-friendly solutions like Follow-Me printing, always with a sharp eye for improvements and customization
• Be responsible for the IT infrastructure of a fixed group of clients, providing technical support and actively contributing to their growth and development through IT
• Work 1 day per week remotely, from home or the office, with opportunities to connect with colleagues, share knowledge, or collaboratively devise solutions
• Visit potential clients with an account manager to identify opportunities for IT environment improvement, leveraging your technical insights to make a difference
• Have one dedicated day every two weeks at the office to catch up on emails, attend training, recharge, and socialize with colleagues, always supported by the consultant team even when working independently with clients
• Engage in monthly discussions with your team leader to foster growth, reviewing projects, personal development, and overall well-being

Requirements

• HBO (higher vocational education) work and thinking level
• Demonstrable experience as an ICT consultant, preferably in IT service provision
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Fortinet
• Experience with Windows Server, Exchange (online), managing and configuring network infrastructure, and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, and Veeam is a plus
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
• Experience with performing migrations
