IT Business Analyst

About This Role

The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document both business and non-functional requirements. This position entails translating those requirements into specifications while ensuring effective communication and support for various IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on business and non-functional requirements to ensure they are well gathered and documented, translating to specifications.
• Perform analysis (data, business process mapping, system flows), business case and functional documentation, and facilitate workshops on requirement discussions/gathering.
• Conduct technical reviews, create test scenarios, and support deployment for IT projects.
• Lead discussions with ITD and/or vendors to identify appropriate IT solutions, establish scope and timeline, and monitor deliverables to ensure they are achieved on time and with quality.
• Proactively communicate and provide status updates to business stakeholders and ITD management.
• Ensure effective solution/application support to business users and issue resolution within agreed service levels by working with the respective ITD/vendor teams, serving as a liaison between end users and the development team regarding software functionality.
• Support the Project Team in managing vendors to deliver application evolutions, maintenance, and support tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise or regional application management, including application maintenance, enhancements, and project delivery.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, Scrum Master, PMP, or ITIL are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise application architecture, including application, infrastructure, integration, and security components.
• Experience with enterprise business applications such as ERP, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Billing, or CRM systems.

Important Details

• Contract: 12 months
