About The Role We are seeking a solution-oriented professional to join our team in a key role that bridges the gap between business needs and technological solutions within our banking operations. As a vital part of our department, you will be responsible for the bank-specific support and development of applications related to payment transactions and banking services. Your expertise will help ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of our financial systems, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You will act as the central link between the business units and IT teams, translating complex requirements into precise technical and functional solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a completed apprenticeship as an IT merchant, banking specialist with a technical focus, or a comparable qualification such as a Fachinformatiker with a specialization in banking application development. A successful university degree in economics, computer science, or business informatics is a distinct advantage. You should possess several years of professional experience in bank-related software development, demonstrating a deep understanding of banking processes and systems. Familiarity with the design of models and architectures, especially concerning account management and payment systems, is highly desirable. Knowledge of current payment procedures such as SEPA and Instant Payments is essential. Additionally, strong skills in requirements analysis, data modeling, functional and process modeling are required to excel in this role.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive bank-specific support for applications and solutions related to payment transactions and banking services.
• Acting as the key interface between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• Conducting detailed analyses of business requirements and processes, developing tailored functional concepts to meet organizational needs.
• Participating in the design, execution, and evaluation of system tests, including user acceptance testing, to ensure quality and functionality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize and innovate banking applications and processes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and payment standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
