IT Administrator

About This Role

This IT Administrator position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of the company's technology infrastructure and computer systems. The role leads the planning, deployment, and maintenance of networks and related environments to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations, collaborating with the IT team to execute strategic technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware
• Analyze and isolate issues on the network
• Monitor performance and maintain systems to meet requirements
• Identify user network needs and seek solutions to those needs
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Upgrade systems with new releases of software or hardware
• Maintain integrity of network, server deployment, and security
• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
• Manage wireless network including access points, cameras, workstations, and mobility
• Assist in the administration and management of server environment including virtualization
• Collaborate with the IT Director and other members of the IT staff to ensure efficient operation of the company's computing environment
• Respond to and perform moves, adds, and change requests as they are submitted
• Respond to and resolve help desk requests
• Create and maintain documentation and inventory as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, service records, network hardware, and any other computer equipment
• Accurately and timely document instances of network and desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal
• Operate under a Zero Trust security framework and enforce all rules therein
• Maintain the company's enterprise security controls across its infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, or relevant experience with three to five years' work-related and/or training

Important Details

• Work Environment: Occasional exposure to work near moving mechanical parts; noise level is usually moderate in offices and loud in the Production Facility
