Ironworker

About This Role

This field welding and ironworking position involves working on a variety of commercial and industrial steel projects, including stairs, railings, structural beams, columns, RTU frames, and plant maintenance. The role suits an experienced, dependable individual with a strong work ethic and proven experience in the steel and ironworking industry.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Work effectively as part of a crew

Requirements

• Valid, non-restricted driver's license
• 3 -5 years of relevant steel, iron working, welding, or erection experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own basic hand tools required for the job
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate fluently in English for job site communication and safety
• Ability to pass the required weld certification tests
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and reliability
• 5 years of welding/erection experience

Nice to have:

• Experience in structural steel erection and installation
• Stick and MIG welding experience
• Experience with stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals
• Field fitting, layout, and fabrication experience
• Industrial and plant maintenance experience
