Role Description The IP Sales role at Cadence is a full-time position based in Seongnam with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. This role focuses on driving sales of Cadence IP solutions by identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, coordinating product demonstrations, and collaborating with technical teams to align IP offerings with customer design requirements. The role also involves preparing sales forecasts, supporting negotiations, providing post-sales follow-up, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. IP Sales professionals contribute to market development by sharing customer insights, participating in training sessions, and promoting Cadence’s value proposition across the semiconductor ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage diverse stakeholders, understand requirements, and support long-term relationships.
- Proven Sales experience with a focus on consultative selling, opportunity development, and closing complex deals.
- Sales Management and Training capabilities to manage pipelines, support account planning, and help educate customers and internal teams on IP offerings.
- Familiarity with semiconductor or electronic design automation (EDA) markets and IP business models is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating across functions and time zones.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and standard office software.
