About This Role
This contract is a one-off, fixed-price project to build the AiApply "Auto-Apply" iOS app from end to end. The role involves continuing an existing codebase using native SwiftUI all the way to the App Store, with potential for ongoing work. The project is open for proposals, allowing the engineer to set their price after reviewing the complete project scope.
Responsibilities
- Build the entire iOS app in native SwiftUI
- Ship the app to the App Store
- Develop with Native SwiftUI, iOS 17+, no cross-platform or WebViews
- Implement native onboarding with full parity to the web version
- Ensure offline-first functionality, with actions queuing and surviving app termination
- Integrate paywall using RevenueCat, Superwall, and StoreKit 2, allowing web subscribers to bypass it
- Implement push notifications, deep links, analytics, and manage full App Store submission
Requirements
- Senior native iOS engineer, a tight 2-person duo, or a small specialist iOS studio (senior people, no bench-warming)
- Experience with native iOS development
- Shipped apps live on the App Store
- Strong focus on craft
- Must be able to prove proficiency in Native SwiftUI + Swift concurrency (async/await, actors), iOS 17+
- Experience with CoreData / offline-first sync, including queued actions, conflict, and retry handling
- Shipped StoreKit 2 subscriptions in production (RevenueCat / Superwall a strong plus)
- Custom animations and gesture-driven UI, with a portfolio that proves it
- Apps live on the App Store that can be downloaded, plus experience with App Store review
