Investment Banking Associate - NYC
We are seeking a high‑performing Investment Banking Associate to join our restructuring team in our NYC office. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of investment banking experience and a strong track record of executing complex M&A and strategic advisory transactions.
Responsibilities
- Execute sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions and other strategic advisory assignments
- Build, review, and refine financial models and valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
- Prepare client‑ready materials, including pitch decks, investment memoranda, and management presentations
- Manage day‑to‑day transaction workstreams and coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and external advisors
- Mentor and review work of analysts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship management
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of investment banking experience, ideally at a top‑tier or elite boutique firm
- Extensive experience with M&A transaction execution
- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly polished client presence
- Detail‑oriented, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
