Investment Banking Analyst

As our M&A practice continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for first-year and second-year Investment Banking Analysts to join our team in Minneapolis, MN, with an immediate start date .

As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in every aspect of the transaction process, from pitch through closing, while working closely with senior bankers and clients’ senior executives. Responsibilities

• Drafting materials (marketing materials, pitch decks, client presentations, industry updates, etc.)
• Building financial models (forecast models, valuation models, etc.)
• Preparing, analyzing, and explaining historical and projected financial information
• Conducting industry and company-specific research and due diligence
• Identifying potential strategic and financial (e.g., private equity) buyers for our clients
• Supporting the due diligence process of buyers, including managing online data rooms
• Interacting with clients regularly, including attending client meetings
• Assisting in the development of client, prospective client, and professional advisor relationships
• Participating in the overall growth and culture of the firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Relevant internship or full-time experience in M&A, transaction advisory, consulting or a similar field
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance principles, financial modeling, and valuation techniques
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
