Investment Banking Analyst

We are recruiting an Analyst on behalf of our client in Frankfurt. The role offers an opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their financial analysis and modelling skills.

Our client is a Frankfurt-based M&A and corporate finance advisory boutique focused on mid-market transactions. Its sector coverage includes Business Services, Industrials, Software & Technology, Consumer and Life Sciences, with experience across domestic and cross-border deals and an average transaction value of approximately €65 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to support investment analysis and decision-making.
• Analyse financial statements, assess company performance and support valuation work.
• Conduct market, industry and company research.
• Prepare presentations and analytical materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the team with ongoing projects and transactions.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Approximately 0–2 years of relevant experience; relevant internships are welcome.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative and a collaborative approach.
