Investment Banking Analyst

About This Role

An Investment Banking Analyst with a strong background in M&A will find an excellent opportunity to advance into a Senior Analyst position within a reputable investment banking platform. This role offers exposure to public M&A and an active transaction pipeline, working with a quality client base and a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Build and review financial models, valuations, and transaction analysis
• Support buyer and seller due diligence
• Prepare information memoranda, presentations, and board materials
• Support transaction execution across public and private M&A
• Participate in client meetings and coordinate with advisers and other transaction stakeholders

Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ M&A experience within an investment bank, independent advisory firm, or Big Four M&A / Corporate Finance team
• Strong academic results, with a Distinction average or above
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Experience contributing to live M&A transactions, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and produce accurate, high-quality work
• A proactive, commercially minded approach and a commitment to building a long-term career in investment banking
• Full working rights in Australia
