About This Role
The Investment Analyst will join the investments team to support the company's strategic growth through investment and business development efforts. This role offers exposure to both investment and business development activities, working on deals from origination to contract conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential investment and hotel management deals
- Partake in work relating to the bidding or tendering process, including market research and underwriting of each potential project, critical market and competitive data, tracking and establishing pickup trends, and occupancy history
- Provide recommendations to management
- Conduct market research and generate investment and development leads through contacts with developers, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultants, and government tourism bodies
- Track new projects pipeline
- Maintain both deal and contact databases
- Develop financial models, presentations, proposals, and pitch materials in connection to each investment or business development opportunity
- Work with various internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, including the hotel operations and technical services team
- Work with the investment team to develop and implement business development strategies to grow the business and secure new hotel management contracts
Requirements
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in either Hospitality, Business Finance, or Real Estate from a recognized institution
- Minimum 1 – 2 years’ of working experience in either an analyst or consultancy role in a hospitality or real estate related field
- Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including financial modeling, graphs charting, and presentation
