About This Role

This Investment Analyst role operates within a flat and lean structure, offering high levels of interaction across the investment team, Portfolio Managers, and the Chairman/CIO. The position is part of a two-year Analyst Development Program, with significant upside opportunity for those who demonstrate capability and potential to become seasoned analysts. The team encourages analysts to search globally for attractive investment opportunities, covering various sectors and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Research economic issues related to investment opportunities across various sectors
• Analyze data using mathematical models, statistical tools, and other software
• Interpret and forecast trends, such as of financial markets
• Produce well-researched, high-quality ideas
• Generate consistent high volume of ideas
• Provide ideas that create material impact on the book
• Contribute fresh, new, and challenging perspectives and ideas
• Review wide variety and diverse set of industries, sectors, and organizations
• Develop clear, concise, and insightful write-ups with rapid pace

Requirements

• Strong academic background including Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or similar
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience (minimum 1.5 years of investment banking experience)
• Strong personal interest in the art of investing
• Ability to work on deliverables and projects independently
• Pro-active, self-driven, and self-motivated
• Competitive team player
• Solid analytical/logical mindset with high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence balanced with humility
