Metro Flex Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Operations Executive to oversee inventory management and operational activities within the warehouse and retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of inventory control systems, warehouse management systems, and point of sale software, leveraging these tools to ensure precise stock levels and smooth dispatch operations. This role requires a strategic approach to inventory optimization, working closely with suppliers and courier services to guarantee timely deliveries and maintain a safe, organized workspace. As the Inventory & Operations Executive, you will take charge of supervising a team of ten personnel, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and guiding team members toward achieving operational excellence within the organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data by monitoring stock records and updating information in the POS system regularly. You will use Microsoft Excel extensively to generate reports on stock movements, inventory levels, and operational efficiency. Collaboration across departments is key to resolving inventory issues swiftly and supporting overall business objectives. Your leadership and communication skills will play a critical role in facilitating smooth coordination between vendors, couriers, and internal teams, thereby contributing to optimized workflow and minimized stock discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organized conditions in the warehouse and store to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and verify the accurate receipt of stock to prevent errors.
- Manage relationships with courier companies to ensure prompt and accurate dispatch and delivery of consignments.
- Monitor inventory levels closely by maintaining up-to-date records and entering data accurately into the POS system.
- Implement inventory control procedures to optimize storage space, reduce losses, and prevent damages.
- Lead and supervise a team of ten personnel by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing guidance and support.
- Use Microsoft Excel to create and update reports related to inventory levels, stock movements, and day-to-day operational activities.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to support business operations and address any inventory-related problems quickly.
- Communicate clearly and maintain timely information flow with vendors, courier services, and internal teams.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all inventory data entered into POS software to minimize discrepancies and reporting errors.
