Job Overview:
The Inventory Manager / Inventory Incharge (RM/PM) will oversee the end-to-end inventory management of raw materials (RM) and packing materials (PM), ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, production, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
✔Maintain accurate records of RM/PM stock levels, ensuring no stock-outs or overstocking.
✔Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
✔Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) principles.
Procurement & Replenishment:
✔Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material availability.
✔Forecast demand based on production schedules and sales projections.
Warehouse & Storage Management:
✔Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity) for sensitive materials (e.g., cosmetics, actives).
✔Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material handling.
Compliance & Documentation:
✔Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO, or other regulatory standards.
✔Ensure proper documentation for batch traceability and expiry management.
Process Improvement:
✔Identify inefficiencies and implement lean inventory practices.
✔Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for real-time tracking.
Team Coordination:
✔Train and supervise warehouse staff on inventory best practices.
✔Liaise with QA, Production, and Logistics teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Hard Skills:
✔Proficiency in inventory management software (ERP, WMS, Excel).
✔Strong understanding of RM/PM in FMCG/Cosmetics/Pharma manufacturing.
✔Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance.
✔Experience in demand forecasting, stock reconciliation, and audit processes.
Soft Skills:
✔Analytical & Problem-Solving – Ability to anticipate shortages/wastage.
✔Detail-Oriented – Zero tolerance for errors in stock records.
✔Communication & Leadership – Effective coordination with multiple teams.
✔Time Management – Prioritize tasks in a dynamic production environment.

Education:
✔Any Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience:
✔4–6 years in inventory/warehouse management, preferably in cosmetics, FMCG, or pharma manufacturing.
✔Experience with private label manufacturing is a plus.
