Inventory Clerk

About This Role

The Inventory Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials. This role ensures inventory accuracy, safe material movement, and compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
• Receive, inspect, store, and ship materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and damage-free delivery
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials
• Process inventory transactions in the system, including receiving, issuing, and location assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience operating material-handling equipment required
• Three years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or cycle counting
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review data and identify discrepancies
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel), RF scanners, and inventory systems
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overtime when needed
