Inventory Clerk

About This Role

This role involves compiling and maintaining accurate records of inventory, including materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing various inventory reports. It suits a detail-oriented individual who can work long hours and is comfortable with both manual and computer-based record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the establishment
• Count material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records, manually or using a computer
• Compare inventories to office records or compute figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
• Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies
• Compile information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and compute inventory balance, price, and cost
• Prepare reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
• Prepare a list of depleted items and recommend a survey of defective or unusable items

Requirements

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Major in Financial Management or equivalent
• Ability to work long hours
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Cebu before starting work
