Inventory Clerk

About This Role

An Inventory Clerk who works carefully and keeps a tidy warehouse will fit well in the logistics team. This role involves managing incoming shipments, tracking inventory, and moving materials throughout a warehouse. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and experience handling inventory or receiving paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Enter and update inventory information using a computer or RF scanner
• Organize, label, and store inventory in the correct locations
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Maintain accurate receiving records and organized inventory areas
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and daily work instructions

Requirements

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience
• Ability to read packing slips and verify product quantities
• Ability to read and speak English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Reliable attendance and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Nice to have:

• Previous inventory, receiving, or shipping experience
• Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or inventory systems
• Forklift experience

Important Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Additional Hours: Occasional weekends as needed, with an extra $2/hour weekend differential when applicable
