About the role
A 404-bed tertiary care, Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Kissimmee, FL is hiring an Interventional Radiographer. The hospital holds Joint Commission accreditation and operates a Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level II NICU, a Heart & Vascular Institute, and a Graduate Medical Education Program in partnership with UCF College of Medicine.
The role. The Interventional Radiographer specializes in vascular interventional radiology, performing angiographic imaging procedures across a broad range of clinical areas including neurological, thoracic, abdominal, genitourinary, gastrointestinal nonvascular, peripheral, venous access, and miscellaneous vascular interventions. The position centers on interventional and neuro work within a dedicated angiography environment. The patient population spans critically to acutely ill adults through geriatric patients, requiring care delivery that reflects an understanding of the functional and developmental needs of each individual served.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology special procedures (preferred)
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; Cardiovascular (CV) registry preferred
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
- 1 year of interventional radiology experience preferred; candidates with strong prior imaging experience, particularly in interventional and neuro, will be considered
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
