Acrisure Re - Internal Governance Analyst

The Internal Governance analyst will support the day-to-day management of the company’s counterparty onboarding and due diligence framework. The role will involve reviewing new trading partner submissions, existing trading partner update requests, completing first-line due diligence checks, maintaining trading partner records, and liaising with the business and Compliance to ensure processes are followed consistently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate trading partner records within OpenTWINS.
  • Review submissions from the business for new trading partners, ensuring required information and supporting documentation has been provided.
  • Complete first-line due diligence checks and refer matters to Compliance where appropriate.
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the company’s trading partner process guidance documents.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and Compliance to support timely, consistent, and well-documented onboarding decisions.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen governance, controls, auditability, and operational efficiency.
  • Once established in the role, support broader internal governance activities, including processes and procedures relating to market security, which are closely aligned to counterparty due diligence.

Beneficial experience:

  • Experience of counterparty onboarding processes, ideally within an insurance broking environment or, alternatively, the wider financial services sector.
  • Experience using OpenTWINS.
  • Understanding of market security procedures within a broking environment.
  • Understanding of security ratings, rating agencies, and the monitoring of market ratings.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support a clear audit trail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, Compliance, and other control functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
