Internal Communications Specialist

About This Role

This role supports a wide range of projects and campaigns that enhance the company's culture and business objectives. The specialist will draft employee stories, update the global intranet, develop communication toolkits, and partner with designers to create engaging content. It suits someone who enjoys writing, can plan communication campaigns, and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of internal communication campaigns that support business, people, and engagement goals
• Develop communication materials, messaging, and toolkits for different audiences across the organization
• Write, edit, and review content for a variety of internal channels, including Viva Engage posts, employee stories, and campaign materials
• Maintain and continuously improve the SharePoint-based global intranet, working closely with Business Technology teams and external partners
• Help ensure communications are clear, consistent, and aligned across channels and functions
• Partner with internal designers to create engaging visual content and communication assets

Requirements

• 3-4 years' experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
• Strong storytelling skills and an ability to turn complex topics into clear, engaging content
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities at the same time
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage projects through to completion
• Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and Viva Engage
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining an authentic and human voice
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
