Internal Auditor

About This Role

This role involves conducting audit functions, analyzing internal processes, and evaluating controls. You will conduct operations and compliance audits, provide comprehensive assessments, and articulate conclusions about audited areas through written reports and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in audit functions, analyze internal processes, and evaluate controls in processes
• Conduct operations and compliance audit
• Provide comprehensive assessment, articulate right conclusions and give objective statements about the audited area through written reports and management reporting
• Develop, implement and monitor audit plans and strategic objectives in collaboration with the Audit Team
• Review and analyze financial data, transactions and records to identify discrepancies and potential risks
• Examine, evaluate and monitor internal controls, company policies and procedures against industry best practices
• Monitor actual implementation of audit recommendations
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations and remediation plans
• Collaborate with teams to track the progress of audit-related improvements
• Maintain a file management system of records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance or any Accounting-related field
• Minimum of two (2) years' work experience as an Audit Assistant or similar role
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and/or MacOS, and being IT savvy is a plus
• In-depth knowledge or understanding of accounting principles, financial auditing and internal controls
• Able to identify the organization's risk areas and provides input to development of Annual Audit Plan
• Experience in IT audit and systems, preferably SAP
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Strong attention to detail, proactive, hardworking and flexible with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently or to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and learn new tools and technologies quickly
