About the Role:
In this role, you will carry out financial and operational audits, business process reviews, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop audit programs and review systems of internal controls
- Perform audit tests to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of organisational and functional activities
- Identify critical issues and recommend appropriate improvements
- Prepare and tabulate audit findings, and follow up on agreed actions from previous audits
- Travel within the region as required
- Handle other assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- High level of integrity with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Independent, with good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, ability to multi-task, and a sense of drive and urgency
- Team player who can also work autonomously
- Proficiency in PC-based applications
Advantageous:
- Knowledge of local legislation such as the Securities and Futures Act, Commodity Trading Act, and Singapore Exchange Rules
