Intern - Quality Control

About This Role

This internship offers hands-on experience in data organization, analysis, and reporting within a regulated environment, supporting Quality Control processes. The intern will assist with technical data collection, process improvements, and key project initiatives, while learning and contributing to laboratory systems, databases, and documentation. The role involves collaborating with team members, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Control activities through data collection, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with laboratory systems, databases, reporting, and maintaining accurate records
• Analyze, organize, and document data to support projects and operational objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in meetings, and contribute to team projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards while completing assigned projects and presenting results

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in life sciences such as Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a related field of study
• Eligible to legally work in the United States
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 12-week period over the summer
• Ability to read, understand, and apply standard operating procedures to operate within a regulated industry and compliance environment

About the Company

Catalent’s Madison, Wisconsin site is a state-of-the-art biologics development and manufacturing facility supporting customers from research through early- and mid-stage clinical production. The approximately 102,700-square-foot GMP facility specializes in mammalian cell line engineering, drug substance biomanufacturing, and biopharmaceutical development, utilizing flexible single-use systems to enable rapid scale-up and customization.
