Intern - AI Prototype Engineering and Development

About This Role

This internship involves developing an AI prototype to automate and optimize the management of customer input data for system engineering. The role suits a student with a specialization in computer science, data science, or AI who is interested in applying these skills to real-world engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and map input data formats used (Excel, PDF, XML, CATIA, images, etc.)
• Identify business constraints and end-user expectations
• Conduct technology watch on relevant AI components (NLP, OCR, classification, generative AI, etc.)
• Propose a software architecture adapted to identified needs
• Develop a functional prototype integrating intelligent import, extraction, and data structuring
• Facilitate collaborative data validation by system engineers
• Test and document the results obtained
• Present the prototype and its benefits to System Design teams

Requirements

• Bac+5 student (engineering school or university) with specialization in computer science, data science, or AI
• Strong software development skills (Python, Java, or equivalent)
• Marked interest in applied artificial intelligence (NLP, machine learning, OCR, etc.)
• Good understanding of complex systems and engineering processes
• Autonomy, curiosity, analytical mind, and team spirit
• Sensitivity to interoperability and data structuring issues
