About This Role
WHLC Architecture is seeking an experienced interior design professional to join their team. The role involves developing interior concepts based on client vision and collaborating on the design process from conceptual design to construction administration. This position suits a self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual.
Responsibilities
- Develop interiors concepts based on client vision, desire, project scope, and architectural concept
- Collaborate on the design process including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, document preparation, construction administration, and furnishings selections and purchases
- Coordinate with project Architect, Project Manager, and outside Project Consultants
- Confidently talk to customers about our process and work with other trade professionals
- Prepare Client presentations by creating design packets, floor plans, drawings, elevations, etc.
- Prepare FF&E budgets, budget packets, and presentation materials
- Coordinate vendor and installation meetings
- Maintain knowledge of building codes and ability to research and incorporate into technical documents
- Occasional travel required
Requirements
- Interior Design Degree from Accredited University
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of software such as Revit, AutoCad, and Adobe Suites
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail oriented
Nice to have:
- NCIDQ Certified
- 3D modeling software
