Interior Design Director / Exhibition Design Director

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and strategic Interior Design Director / Exhibition Design Director to lead design projects from concept development to completion. The successful candidate will oversee design teams, manage project execution, maintain design quality, and ensure projects meet client requirements, budgets, and deadlines.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, creative, communication, and project management skills, with a solid understanding of interior design, exhibition design, space planning, materials, and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee interior design and exhibition design projects from concept to completion.
• Develop creative design concepts, layouts, space plans, and visual presentations.
• Manage design teams, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, and objectives.
• Review design drawings, 3D renderings, material selections, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and design deliverables.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Oversee exhibition booth design, event displays, brand installations, and spatial experiences where applicable.
• Monitor construction, fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation.
• Identify design improvements and resolve technical or operational challenges.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support new business opportunities.
• Prepare project proposals, presentations, progress reports, and cost estimates.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in interior design, exhibition design, or related project management roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative concepts and successfully completed projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Good knowledge of materials, construction methods, fabrication, and space planning.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
