Intelligent AMR Robot System Integration Engineer

Who we are
We are responsible for developing highly applicable logistics technologies to serve as an SDF logistics control tower and disseminating and deploying them across manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a systems integration position connecting hardware and software, spanning from designing AMR robot electrical systems to software integration.

■ AMR Robot Systems Integration

• Designing and reviewing AMR robot electrical systems (power architecture, wiring, circuit configuration, layout optimization, etc.)
• Selecting electrical components (power/capacity review, etc.) and managing BOM (sensors, actuators, batteries, motor drivers, etc.)
• Integrating third-party control boards (motor drivers, LIDAR, cameras, etc.) and designing interfaces
• Analyzing manufacturer technical documents to define pinmaps and signals, and designing wiring considering signal integrity (cable specifications, colors, connector types, etc.)
• Integrating communication between ROS/ROS2-based software and hardware (CAN, RS-232/485, Ethernet, USB)
• Performing system-level debugging — identifying and resolving electrical and software issues at the boundary
• Reviewing electrical safety standards and responding to certifications (CE, KC, UL, etc.)
• Establishing electrical quality standards during mass production transition and providing technical support to manufacturers
• Designing robot integration test scenarios and conducting field validation

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for AMRs, AGVs, or industrial robots
• Proficiency with at least one electrical design tool, such as KiCad, Altium, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with major fieldbus and communication protocols, including CAN, RS-485, Modbus, and Ethernet
• Those who have foundational software operation skills in Linux environments, including configuration, log analysis, and script-level troubleshooting
• Those who have the ability to read and create electrical schematics and drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in integrating hardware with ROS/ROS 2-based system
• Experience in designing electrical component wiring layouts using 3D CAD tools, such as SolidWorks or CATIA
• Experience in writing interface scripts or drivers using Python or C++
• Experience in designing battery management systems (BMS) or charging systems
• Experience in integrating hardware with SLAM and navigation modules
• Understanding of functional safety standards, such as IEC 62061 and ISO 13849
• Experience in managing manufacturing suppliers and transferring products or systems to mass production
