Integration Developer

About This Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Architecture, this role provides application and data interface design, development, and testing expertise for Safe Transport Victoria's Salesforce platforms and connected systems. It facilitates the delivery of a consolidated regulatory platform that is scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a senior Integration Developer with expertise in enterprise platforms and data sets, confidently translating business needs to technical design, and working alongside business users to create efficient applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the Jitterbit and Salesforce integration platform, including contributing to best practice management of technical design, data models, configuration, solution architecture, and technical documentation
• Develop the specification and design of information technology systems in collaboration with departmental stakeholders including business, designers, architects, analysts, and testers
• Lead the build of application code and automation to acceptance criteria, in collaboration with architects
• Own delivery of API-led connectivity across enterprise systems and lead the build of REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and data pipelines
• Own the integration architecture governance and API strategy for the engagement, providing operational escalation support
• Set integration security and monitoring standards
• Design reusable integration components

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer working in Salesforce with skills in Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud and Omniscript
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, capabilities, and integration patterns
• Strong business partnering approach and a solutions-focused mindset
• Ability to unite diverse stakeholders on complex development projects and skilfully navigate competing objectives

Mandatory:

• Certified Jitterbit Integration Developer
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer

Desirable:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Agile or Scrum qualifications

• Contract: fixed term - 24 months
