About This Role
This integration developer role provides technical expertise to support and enhance the company's integration suite, including Informatica Power Center and IICS. The position involves configuring and developing the Informatica platform, working with various partners and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions, and independently completing tasks in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate conceptual system requirements into technical data and integration requirements
- Use Informatica Cloud applications and data integration
- Develop custom APIs to handle bulk volumes, pagination, etc.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
- Configure data mappings, transformations, and workflows to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Develop and maintain APIs and connectors to integrate with various data sources and applications
- Prepare data flow diagramming and/or process modeling
- Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure the quality of delivered requirements and overall health of the system
- Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives
- Educate other team members and govern tool usage
- Participate in research and recommend integration products and services
- Monitor integration processes and proactively identify and resolve performance or data quality issues
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for integration solutions
- Perform regular updates and upgrades to keep integrations current
Requirements
- Proficiency in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 3+ years of developer experience in Informatica IICS Application Integration and Data Integration
- Experience in PowerCenter along with IICS and complete knowledge of SDLC Process
- Experience in API development, including best practices, testing methods, and deployment strategies
- Experience in designing, creating, refining, deploying, and managing the organization's data architecture, including the end-to-end vision for how data will flow from system to system, for multiple applications and across different territories
- Expertise with tools like SOA, ETL, ERP, XML, etc.
- Understanding of Python, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and Relational Databases
- Knowledge of UNIX Shell scripts and ability to write/debug Shell Scripts
- Ability to work in an agile team environment and apply the related working methods
