Insurance Investigator in Insurance Affiliation

About This Role

Investigating customer cases related to insurance affiliation is the core of this role, ensuring that the correct compensation reaches the right person. This position involves individual case investigation within a team setting, where you will exchange expertise and follow up on work together. You will handle classified information, requiring a high level of security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Work individually with investigations in customer cases
• Exchange competence and follow up on work within a team and unit
• Ensure that the correct compensation goes to the right person
• Provide conditions for overview and security in all contacts with Försäkringskassan
• Conduct contact by phone and in writing
• Perform qualified investigations and make decisions
• Handle classified information with high security awareness
• Meet citizens from all over the world who have come to or left Sweden to reside or work
• Investigate and decide whether individuals meet the conditions to be socially insured in Sweden
• Apply EU legislation, convention provisions, and national legislation
• Contact other Swedish authorities, such as the Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Migration Agency, as well as foreign authorities

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• Stable and trustworthy
• Acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for high-quality results
• Systematic and meticulous way of working
• Ability to understand and analyze complex issues
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English
• Computer literate

Nice to have:

• Experience with qualified investigations and making decisions that affect individuals, preferably at an authority
• Knowledge of an additional language besides Swedish and English
• Experience working in a production-based environment and motivated by achieving goals
• Ability to balance quality and quantity
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes

Important Details

• Schedule: full-time
• Contract: permanent, with access by agreement; probationary employment may be applicable
• Team: 5 investigation units working with Insurance Affiliation in Malmö, totaling approximately 100 people in Malmö and 300 people in Sweden within the area
• Security: participation in security-sensitive activities may require approved security screening according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585); background checks are conducted
• Work format: remote work is possible if the work allows
