About This Role

The Insurance Agent meets with current and prospective clients to assess their coverage needs, explain insurance products, and recommend tailored policies across areas such as life, auto, home, and other lines. This role involves generating new business through outreach and referrals, providing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records.

Requirements

• Strong insurance expertise, including Insurance and Insurance Brokerage skills, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and accurately
• Proficiency in Insurance Sales, with a track record of meeting targets while maintaining a consultative, client-focused approach
• Foundational Finance knowledge to help clients understand premiums, deductibles, and the financial impact of coverage decisions
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to resolve client issues promptly and professionally
• Relevant state insurance producer license (or eligibility to obtain), and familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
• Comfort using CRM and agency management systems, as well as basic office software for documentation and follow-up
• Ability to manage a varied workload and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
