About This Role

An insurance agent who is goal-oriented and driven will thrive in this sales role, which focuses on generating new clients and serving an existing client base for insurance products and services. The agent will help clients understand the full scope of products and services offered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Market and generate leads
• Qualify prospective leads
• Make initial prospect contact
• Build client files
• Create insurance sales presentations and proposals
• Identify cross-sell opportunities
• Successfully execute a pre-determined number of insurance sales calls
• Complete full fact-finding interviews on prospective and existing clients
• Shadow and participate in calls, visits, and presentations
• Successfully sign new clients and products to obtain quotas

Requirements

• College Degree Preferred
• Goal and action oriented, with ability and desire to work towards activity and sales targets
• High level of comfort with outreach directly to prospective clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage one-on-one as well as to an audience
• Persistence, drive and ability to work proactively
• Team player and team spirited
