About This Role

Working with clients to provide personalized insurance solutions is the core of this on-site Insurance Agent role. The agent will advise on personal insurance products, assess customer needs, explain policy options, and recommend coverage that aligns with client risk profiles and budgets. This role suits a service-focused individual dedicated to helping clients understand and optimize their insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on personal insurance products such as auto, home, and other property-related coverage
• Assess customer needs
• Explain policy options
• Prepare quotes from multiple carriers
• Recommend coverage that aligns with client risk profiles and budgets
• Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries
• Assist with policy applications and renewals
• Maintain accurate records in agency systems
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with internal partners
• Stay current on carrier offerings and industry regulations
• Meet sales and service goals while delivering clear, respectful, and compliant guidance to every customer

Requirements

• Strong insurance expertise, including Insurance and Insurance Brokerage skills relevant to personal lines coverage
• Proven ability in Insurance Sales, with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets in a client-focused environment
• Foundational knowledge of Finance to explain premiums, deductibles, coverage limits, and policy comparisons clearly
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving in person and by phone
• State insurance producer license (or eligibility to obtain within a defined timeframe)
• Comfort working with digital tools and CRM or agency management systems
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice to have:

• Prior agency or carrier experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
