Inside Sales - Solar Representative

About This Role

This inside sales role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships within the solar industry. The representative will help customers with their building and remodeling projects, utilizing sales data to identify opportunities and providing training on various product lines and services.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships
• Utilize sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns
• Make cold calls to prospective customers
• Follow sales leads and schedule appointments with prospective customers
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions, should a service concern arise
• Provide training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services
• Assist customers in the credit application process
• Connect with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary

Requirements

• Solar materials (solar panels, electrical, inverters, racking) experience is required
• Specific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferred but not required
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Superior time management and organization skills
