Inside Sales Representative

About This Role

Working in a busy wholesale distribution center, the Inside Sales Representative provides excellent service to customers purchasing building products. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending products, and managing sales orders from entry to delivery follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-sell additional products and supplies
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinate customer pick-ups with the warehouse
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reorder products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Address and resolve service concerns, should they arise

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Important Details

• Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am- 3:30pm; Saturday 7am-12pm
