Inpatient Wound Ostomy Nurse (Full-Time, Days)

Role Overview This position offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with 8-hour shifts, focusing on specialized wound care within a patient-centered clinical environment. The role requires independent practice with strong clinical judgment and accountability. The candidate must have a BSN (or be enrolled in a BSN program), with WOCN/WO certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about wound care, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licenses & Certifications: RN license; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience are preferred.
• Experience: No experience required; supervisory experience is not necessary.
