Role: Inpatient Surgical Nurse
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult surgical patients in an acute care setting.
- Manage pre- and post-operative patients, monitor complex clinical conditions, and administer medications and IV therapies.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Offer patient and family education, supporting safe transitions of care.
- Contribute to quality and safety initiatives within a mission-driven, research-connected health system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current nursing license and relevant clinical experience in surgical or acute care nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
