Role & responsibilities
* Lead the High-Purity SiO Crucible Process Engineering team to ensure process stability and efficiency.
* Develop and optimize high-purity SiO Crucible manufacturing processes using high-temperature arc furnace technology.
* Drive improvements in yield, cost, quality and process efficiency.
* Analyze process data, identify trends and implement optimization opportunities.
* Lead troubleshooting and corrective actions for process-related issues.
* Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to implement new technologies and process improvements.
* Drive process validation and qualification activities.
* Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
* Ensure adherence to safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
* Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for process materials and equipment.
Preferred candidate profile
* B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
* TM candidates with 3-7 years of relevant experience; STM candidates with 8.5-11 years of experience.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in leading a team responsible for manufacturing process stability.
* Strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial manufacturing processes.
* Candidates from Ceramics, Refractory, or Advanced Materials Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Process Engineering, Process Optimization, Process Stability, and Manufacturing Operations.
* Working knowledge of Minitab and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma, QC Tools, Kaizen, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and TQM will be an added advantage.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting, and team leadership skills.
