Duties

• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and injections accurately and safely, following aseptic techniques and established protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate infusion plans.
• Monitor patients during and after infusion treatments, promptly identifying and responding to adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Educate patients about their infusion therapies, medication administration, potential side effects, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage supplies, ensure sterile processing of equipment such as catheters and IV lines, and uphold infection control standards.
• Become Certified in Bodysculpting treatments available at medspa.

Skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Zenoti for accurate documentation and patient record management.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to infusion therapy.
• Experience with IV insertion, catheter care, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique.
• Familiarity with advanced clinical procedures including tube feeding management, ventilator support, and laboratory specimen collection/processing.
• Critical care experience in settings such as ICU or emergency medicine enhances your ability to handle complex cases efficiently.
• Ability to perform patient assessments in diverse environments like hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or home care settings.
• Knowledge of infection control practices aligned with NCQA standards and healthcare regulations.
