Position: Infrastructure Project Manager - Retail

Project Overview

client has selected Fujitsu POS systems as the new Point of Sale (POS) platform for its retail

stores. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the infrastructure-related

implementation activities for the rollout of the new POS solution across the Korea market. This

role will act as the primary liaison between Client, Fujitsu, infrastructure teams, and other

technology partners to ensure successful deployment, integration, and transition.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead end-to-end infrastructure project management for the deployment of Fujitsu POS

systems across Korea retail locations.

 Coordinate with Fujitsu and other implementation partners to develop and execute

deployment plans, timelines, and milestones.

 Ensure alignment between business, retail operations, infrastructure, networking,

security, and support teams.

 Manage project governance, stakeholder communications, status reporting, risk

management, and issue resolution.

 Coordinate infrastructure readiness activities, including:

o Network connectivity

o Store LAN/WAN readiness

o Security and firewall requirements

o Endpoint and device configuration

o Integration with central systems and services

 Track implementation progress across all Korea store locations and drive timely

resolution of dependencies and blockers.

 Facilitate testing, cutover planning, deployment scheduling, and hypercare support

activities.

 Ensure adherence to Client project management standards, change management

processes, and compliance requirements.

 Manage project documentation, RAID logs, implementation plans, and executive-level

status reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

 8+ years of IT Project Management experience, preferably in retail technology

deployments.

 Strong experience managing infrastructure implementation projects involving POS

systems, store technology, or retail modernization initiatives.

 Experience working with external vendors and system integrators.

 Good understanding of:

o Retail store infrastructure

o Network and connectivity services

o Endpoint management

o Security and compliance requirements

o IT service transition and support models

 Experience in managing multi-site rollout programs and coordinating cross-functional

teams.

 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

 Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).

 Proficiency in project planning, risk management, and executive reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

 Previous experience supporting POS deployments in retail environments.

 Experience working with Fujitsu POS solutions or similar retail platforms.

 Understanding of IT infrastructure operations and service management (ITIL).

 Experience working in global organizations with regional market stakeholders.
