About the role
Contract: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver IT infrastructure and workplace technology projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate activities across infrastructure, security, application and business teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope and quality standards.
- Act as the key coordination point between technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and status reviews and drive action items to closure.
- Escalate project risks and issues appropriately to project sponsors and management.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards and management presentations.
- Maintain project plans, meeting minutes, risk logs, change records and other project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, technology standards and applicable audit/risk requirements.
- Coordinate implementation across network, digital workplace, Microsoft 365, cloud, collaboration and security initiatives.
- Support testing, migration, deployment and post-implementation activities.
- Ensure solutions are properly documented and transitioned into operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in IT infrastructure project management or project coordination.
- Proven experience delivering projects involving one or more of:
- Network/connectivity
- Digital workplace/end-user technology
- Microsoft 365/collaboration platforms
- Cloud infrastructure
- Information security
- Strong project planning, stakeholder management, vendor management, risk/issue management and governance experience.
- Able to independently manage multiple project workstreams.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
- PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master or equivalent certification would be advantageous.
- Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
