About This Role
This engineering role is responsible for managing and operating backup, storage, virtualization, and cyber recovery platforms. The core mission is to ensure the availability, security, and continuity of infrastructure services, participating in the transformation of national and international organizations.
Responsibilities
- Administer Backup and Cyber Recovery platforms (Dell Avamar and Cyber Recovery)
- Manage Dell EMC PowerStore and Unity storage arrays
- Execute restorations, recovery tests, and support business continuity
- Support DR
- Perform basic administration of VMware vSphere/ESXi environments
- Support Windows and Linux systems
- Manage incidents, changes, and operational tasks (Jira experience is a plus)
- Administer security tools like Tanium
- Participate in infrastructure migration and evolution projects
- Execute planned tasks: patching, upgrades, configuration changes, DR tests, capacity reviews, etc.
- Collaborate in audits and security reviews by providing technical evidence
- Document procedures and operations
Requirements
- Technical degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Higher Vocational Training in Systems/Networks, or equivalent
- Certifications in Azure, virtualization, and networks are a plus
- Experience with Dell Avamar, backup, and data recovery
- Experience with Cyber Recovery
- Experience with PowerStore and Unity storage arrays
- Experience with administration of VMware (vSphere/ESXi) or Hyper-V environments
- Experience with Windows Server systems (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL 7/8, or other distributions)
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira)
