About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Infrastructure & Capital Projects - Northern California Market Leader for Water, ANS to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This leadership role will drive market growth and client engagement across water infrastructure and capital projects in Northern California.
The position will focus on business development, strategic account relationships, and delivery oversight for water-focused transformation initiatives.
In addition, the role will help advance digital modernization efforts, strengthen service quality, and support talent and organizational effectiveness across the region.
Location: Sacramento, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts for water in the DMV region.
- Cultivate relationships with state agencies and utilities for business growth.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives for water utilities.
- Guide clients in adopting AI and machine learning for operational efficiency.
- Manage performance of water business projects across the region.
- Maintain desired corporate culture and oversee talent management.
- Oversee service quality and develop corrective action plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the water industry or technology transformation programs.
- Proven executive leadership and management experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks of MDE, Virginia DEQ, or Delaware DNREC.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
