Information Technology Procurement

About This Role

This Information Technology Procurement role is part of the Elsewedy Electric Graduate Development Program, designed for recent graduates with 0-2 years of experience. The program offers job rotations, mentorships, coaching, and training. You will manage the procurement of IT hardware and software, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of IT hardware, including end-user computing devices, peripherals, and data center infrastructure, in alignment with business and operational requirements
• Support the sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of technology solutions while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery
• Prepare structured commercial comparison analyses, assessing supplier quotations based on pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, warranty coverage, and overall commercial value
• Source and manage software licensing agreements across various licensing models to support organizational technology needs
• Maintain and monitor software contract renewal schedules to ensure continuity of services and compliance with contractual obligations
• Collaborate with IT Asset Management and Information Security teams to reconcile deployed software assets against purchased licensing entitlements
• Evaluate supplier quotations by considering the total cost of ownership, including acquisition costs, shipping, duties, installation expenses, recurring support fees, and contract transition considerations
• Negotiate commercial terms and contract conditions, including pricing structures, renewal terms, payment conditions, and other key procurement requirements
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) within enterprise resource planning systems, ensuring accurate documentation and cost center allocation
• Build and maintain effective relationships with strategic technology vendors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), authorized resellers, and distribution partners
• Monitor supplier performance and service quality to ensure compliance with contractual commitments, business requirements, and procurement standards
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, commercial evaluations, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support procurement planning, sourcing activities, contract management, and supplier engagement initiatives
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company procedures, governance standards, and applicable regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, or any related field
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• 0-2 years of experience in the same field
• MS Word & Excel skills
