About This Role
This internship offers college-level students a chance to gain real-world problem-solving experience through hands-on application of Information Technology. The intern will be responsible for performing PC maintenance and support, contributing to ongoing projects, and assisting users.
Responsibilities
- Install PC hardware, including upgrading software, installing, and maintaining network components
- Respond to inquiries and questions
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to users
- Support ongoing projects
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area
- Demonstrate strength in communication and documenting processes
Requirements
- Currently a college-level student looking for IT experience
- Quick learner who is looking to learn new concepts and ideas
- Self-starter, motivated, critical thinker, solid work ethic with the ability to create, change, and understand products to meet customer specifications
- Able to develop alternative solutions and work well in individual and group problem-solving situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and be a team player
- Possess good problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, thorough, organized, with the ability to complete projects on time
- Ability to work and communicate with individuals and groups at varying levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Pursuing Associate's (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a two-year college, technical school, or four-year college or university in Information Technology
- Continually participate in additional training

- Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner
- Speaks clearly, listens and receives clarification, respond to questions
