Industrial Equipment Controller Hardware Development Engineer (Controller Business Division)

About This Role

This role is for a hardware development engineer specializing in industrial equipment controllers within the Industrial Automation Business Company. You will be at the forefront of product development, creating high-performance, high-precision, and secure controllers that form the core of integrated and intelligent manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hardware development for industrial controller equipment
• Design circuits and boards considering hardware-software collaboration
• Adjust specifications with the firmware development team and design optimal interfaces
• Conduct industrial system compatibility design and optimization
• Ensure compatibility as part of system products
• Implement system design for overall performance optimization and long-term operational improvement
• Develop technologies to enhance customer value, such as higher performance, power saving, and environmental resistance
• Respond to customer requirements and promote the resolution of technical issues

Requirements

• Circuit design using ARM microcontrollers
• Basic knowledge of digital circuit design (synchronous design, timing design, etc.)
• Business communication skills in Japanese (report writing, understanding specifications, explaining in meetings)
• Self-directed learning attitude and interest in technology trends

Nice to have:

• Ability to program and operate microcontroller-embedded circuits designed by yourself
• Ability to simplify circuits by implementing and utilizing CPLDs for logic
