Industrial Engineer, Industrial Engineering

About This Role

The Industrial Engineer will develop key metrics and data analytics to enable continued growth critical to supply chain infrastructure and resolve operational concerns. This role involves supply planning in an MRP system and owning the supply of a portfolio from point of purchase to finished goods ship, working closely with various internal teams to understand demand profiles, product life cycles, and business model strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop key metrics and data analytics to enable continued growth critical to supply chain infrastructure
• Resolve operational concerns
• Conduct supply planning in an MRP system
• Own the supply of your portfolio from point of purchase to finished goods ship
• Work closely with Sales Operations, Supply Operations, Global capacity planning, Sourcing, Finance, Business Operations, and Business units to understand demand profiles, product life cycles, and business model strategies
• Monitor levels of supply while holding moderate inventory positions and minimizing Excess and Obsolete
• Build efficiency and automation into your process and disseminate to your peers
• Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering work experience

Nice to have:

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field
• 4+ years of industrial engineering work experience in a semiconductor, assembly, and/or testing company
• Experience in Rapid Response and Tableau
• Experience in Project Management, NPI planning, Demand planning, Capacity planning, and/or S
• OP process
• Semiconductor end to end process background from wafer fabrication to assembly & test process
• Strong decision making and comfort in making sound data-based recommendations
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and ambiguity
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written, verbal, communication skills and with ability to simplify complex topics to broad audience
