Jimmy Johns is hiring for sandwiches building rockstars! Work in a fun, fast pace, upbeat environment. Lunch availability is best, shifts begin and end between 10am - 8pm Monday - Saturday!
Job Summary: In Shop Team Members are responsible for greeting customers as they enter and exit the restaurant, providing world-class customer service and executing fast and accurate sandwiches while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to the Top 5 priorities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the company’s culture and value stories.
- Greet customers warmly and enthusiastically, take orders, operate the cash register, process payments, and provide correct change.
- Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic attitude and approach to all assignments and responsibilities.
- Complete all required training on Fast track and continual Limited Time Offer (LTO) updates.
- Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John’s Dress Code.
- Prepare fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches in line with portion sizes, recipes, and operational procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
- Displays complete and accurate knowledge of the full menu and sandwich builds
- Accurately take phone orders and complete delivery tickets.
- Ensure all systems and procedures are filled out with 100% accuracy and integrity.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak and understand English, are required to interact with customers, take orders, and perform essential job functions such as operating the cash register and ensuring order accuracy.
- Position requires frequent bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving throughout the entire workday.
- Must be legally permitted to work with minors without supervision as part of their regular job duties.
Work Environment:
The Inshopper role operates in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment that requires excellent multitasking and time management skills.
