About the role

Our client is looking for an In-House Retoucher to join their team! This role is 40 hr/week, onsite in Broomfield, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Retouch across categories: Product (still life, detail, e-comm), people (portraits, lifestyle, editorial, campaign), and internal brand imagery.

  •  Polish assets for toolkits, campaigns, partnership activations, PR, PDPs, social content, and internal comms.

  • Color correction, clipping, compositing, skin work, cleanup, and final delivery with a light, artful touch that keeps imagery feeling natural and elevated.

  • Ensure color, tone, and finish stay true to brand guidelines across every asset and channel.

  • Elevate imagery with a fashion-y informed eye - knowing when to push, when to pull back, and how to keep the craft feeling premium.

  • Use existing and emerging AI generative tools to speed up workflows without compromising quality.

  • Develop and maintain actions, presets, templates, and batch processes to streamline high-volume work.

  • Deep proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, Bridge, and Camera Raw; comfortable with plug-ins, scripts, and automation.

  • Identify and implement new tools, techniques, and workflows that make the team faster, better, and more scalable.

  • Maintain organized working files, layered PSDs, version control, etc.

What You Bring:

  • 4-6+ years of professional retouching experience, ideally a mix of in-house and agency/studio, with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle experience strongly preferred.

  • A portfolio that shows range and taste - clean product work, natural and elevated people/skin retouching, and an artful, editorial finish.

  • Expert in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and color management.

  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and a point of view on how to integrate them responsibly into pro workflows.

  • Comfortable partnering closely with photographers and creatives.

  • You stay on top of trends in fashion, editorial, and content and you bring that sensibility into the work.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience retouching for global brands, e-commerce at scale, or multi-market campaigns.

  • Fashion, beauty, or editorial retouching credits with recognizable brands or publications.

  • Compositing, AI and CGI integration experience.

  • Motion/video color and cleanup skills for digital assets.

  • Familiarity with Figma, Frame.io, DAM platforms, and creative toolkit systems.

  • Experience building or contributing to retouching guidelines, style guides, or QA processes.
